MEET THE REINDEER LIKE A LOCAL WITH A SNOWMOBILE SLED
Join us for an unforgettable experience at a local reindeer farm in Levi, designed exclusively for our small groups to escape the tourist crowds. What to expect:
First, you'll be outfitted in warm winter clothing.
Then, seated in a snowmobile sled, you’ll take a brief ride to the reindeer corral.
Instantly, you’ll find yourself surrounded by a “sea” of reindeer.
The farm’s owner will welcome you and introduce you to Lappish reindeer husbandry. You’ll learn to catch a reindeer with a lasso, harness them, and feed them, while discovering fascinating reindeer facts. Situated in a picturesque location with views of Kätkä fell, the farm offers excellent photo opportunities of the reindeer in their natural habitat.
You’ll spend about an hour outside with these arctic animals, getting to know them and experiencing what’s known as "reindeer therapy".
As you begin to feel chilly, we’ll invite you into a traditional Lappish tepee. Get cozy by the fire and enjoy a warm drink of your choice: herbal tea (naturally decaffeinated), coffee, or hot chocolate. Working with the reindeer outside will naturally increase your appetite, so we’ll provide locally made reindeer sausages to grill over the fire and fry pancakes. While you savor the snacks, the host will share stories about reindeer and Arctic life. Feel free to ask any questions.
You will return to Levi by car.

Group 1 - 8 persons:
We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 21 days or less before the event.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event.
Group 9+ persons:
We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 14 days or less before the event.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 45 days or less before the event.
We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event.

Reindeer are semi-wild animals and even being used to living next to people, they are quite shy and can be unpredictable. Please always follow the instructions given by the guide and try to be calm and careful when close to the reindeers.
This activity involves a ride in a snowmobile sled. According to Finnish law you must wear a helmet even when riding in a sled. We will get you fully equipped for this ride.
For the food we use only locally produced high quality ingredients.
Please be at least 20 min before pick up time to get dressed.
