Our destination is a small family-owned husky kennel, located about 30 min drive from Levi center. There are over 42 dogs in the kennel, including Siberian and Arctic-Alaskan huskies and 3 reindeer dogs, living a happy and healthy life. On your visit you are guaranteed to spend quality time with dogs. There is an area in the kennel where dogs can run free.

You are welcome to visit there and cuddle and pet the dogs and take photos with them. We will also walk around the kennel to meet the other dogs. Our guide will talk about huskies’ life and history.

Then we invite you inside our cozy hut (kota) to warm up around the open fire, having hot berry juice with cookies. The host will talk about life with the dogs and answer questions.

Kennel owners are energetic professional sport dog mushers. They have well-trained Arctic-Alaskan huskies. This breed was created by crossbreeding in the beginning of 20th century in Alaska, especially for dog racing during the Gold rush period.

RECOMMENDATION

We strongly recommend wearing warm winter clothing. It can be rented separately before the departure from the Safarimarket office in Levi center at extra charge. If you want to rent the clothing, please be at least 20 min before pick up time to get dressed.

We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 7 days or less before the event
We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 21 days or less before the event
We will charge a cancellation fee of 10% if booking is cancelled 365 days or less before the event

PLEASE NOTE

Child age: 2-11 years

Please take off your gloves/mittens when touching the huskies. They love to play with gloves and might break it easily. Do not be afraid of dogs, as they are genetically friendly to people. Do not feed the dogs.
